What did you learn or understand better about shooting at aperture priority?
I learned that shooting at a shallow depth of field worked better with close-up shots of things, like people's faces and plants. It was more difficult finding places or items to shoot in a deep depth of field.
What were your successes during this shoot?
Challenging myself to look at things differently was something I feel I succeeded at this photo shoot. I also enjoyed finding new places to take photos at around SAS.
What were your struggles?
Like I mentioned before, shooting at higher aperture setting (f16-f22) wasn't as easy because it wasn't as enjoyable. I liked the look of the photos with a shallow depth of field much more than the deeper depth of fields.

Once you have completed shooting your stop-motion short on your iPad or iPhone using Stop-Motion Studio App, you will need to transfer it to your iMovie for editing and posting to YouTube. Watch the tutorial video below for instructions on how to do it!
Last week in Digital Filmmaking, the students were given the opportunity to experiment with filmmaking techniques from silent films before having to do their own film as a summative.
